Meet our co-founder

Infracorps is guided by the technical excellence and scientific rigor of its Founding Partner and Technical Director, Dr. Eduardo Dell’Avanzi. With a solid career spanning more than 35 years, Eduardo has established himself as a leading figure in Brazilian consulting engineering, combining a prestigious academic career with the execution of highly complex infrastructure projects.

Academic and Technical Leadership

His academic background bears the hallmark of elite institutions. A Civil Engineer and Master’s graduate from PUC-Rio, Eduardo specialized in geotechnical engineering and slope stability analysis, further strengthening his expertise with a PhD from the University of Colorado Boulder (USA). During this period, he conducted pioneering research in centrifuge modeling and advanced instrumentation, knowledge that he now applies directly to solving complex challenges in foundation and geotechnical engineering.

Since 1997, he has actively contributed to the Brazilian engineering practice as a Professor at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). His technical leadership is nationally recognized, having served as a CNPq Productivity Research Fellow and as President of the Paraná/Santa Catarina Chapter of the Brazilian Association for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ABMS).

Airport Safety

Responsible for the structural and geotechnical solutions of the EMAS (Engineered Materials Arresting System) at Congonhas Airport (SP) and Santos Dumont Airport (RJ).

Vitória International Airport (ES)

Technical leadership in pavement engineering, geotechnical, and structural projects for the new terminal and runways, classified as Class 4D.

Special Structures

Large-scale foundation and roadway infrastructure projects, including the bridges of the Jataí Bypass (GO) and the expansion of Afonso Pena International Airport (PR).
